Are BSN Products legal?

BSN and other supplemental products are perfectly legal. They are sold in commercial stores all over the place. Their contents are not evaluated by the FDA, but the companies are all held in place by the fact that they have so much competition that they WANT their products to work. They are made in laboratories and tested by the companies themselves. Currently, there are only three supplements that are illegal in the US: ephedra extract, Pro-hormones (steroids), and two or three products have been caught for having hospital-strength diuretics in them, which are controlled substances. That's it. the rest are pretty natural and can give you significant boosts if applied responsibly and not relied upon as a crutch.
