'99 Honda CBR 600 FX starting trouble?

All ok until today when bike refuses to start. On pressing the starter on, the relay next to the battery gives one 'click', followed by another single 'click' when you release the on. Engine doesn't even try and turn, just these single clicks when you press the on. Bike is used every day, is fuelled up and battery is only 3months old and has been on charge all last night. Kill switch is off, as is alarm and immobiliser. I can get it going but only by bump starting it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Smudge.

For now I'm against it. The technology is just too expensive and inefficient at the moment, and there's no real return for our investment. Our own planet is too screwed up to justify wasting trillions of dollars to explore other planets. We should concentrate on developing better technology and lowering the price of space flight. Once we have our own house sorted out, and once the technology and cost for space flight are reasonable, then I'll whole heartedly embrace space exploration.

We call 911, but at this point it keeps happening over and over and over again and we are getting fed up. Every time the paramedics come, they stabilize the blood sugar but the roommate refuses transport to the emergency room. When asked, the roommate says they are taking their medications, eating and checking blood sugar, but obviously this isn't the case if we need to keep calling 911. This is all preventable with the proper self-care and medical care on the roommate's part, but we can't force them to take care of themselves, right?

My boyfriend likes to drink alcohol every evening. It consists of between 2 and 4 pints. I know its not loads and he doesnt get drunk its just the taste he likes but it upsets me that he has to do it every single night!! Theres hardly ever a time he doesnt do this. Also if he has been out with the lads and drank loads and got drunk, he still drinks his two pints the follwing night. I tell him it upsets me but he said thats just him and he doesnt seem willing to comprimise on this. So every evening I have to listen to the cans opening etc!!! Eat snacks. Don't try to reduce the amount of food you eat, just don't eat things like junk food. Eat dark chocolate if you are craving sugar. In small portions, dark chocolate can be good for you. Also, a reeeally good way to get a nice thin lean body is to do pilates. It's a little difficult the first few times but trust me, it pays of if you stick with it!

Hello everyone. Last night I installed a Dual on rapid fire kit in my Wireless Xbox 360 controller. I wired everything from the microchip out to the connection points and so on exactly the way it said. IT matches the pictures. But when I play games, it repeatably presses what ever the function of the right og stick does when it is pressed down. Therefore in call of duty, the knifing doesn't stop. I don't touch anything, it just does it with no interaction to the controller at all. So even if I try to walk around and stuff, the controller keeps on knifing. Crazy dream about nuclear war: Would I have survived it?

I had a dream in which I was part of a group of people who built a bomb shelter for an impending nuclear attack-a big one, that was below ground by a good 50 feet or more, and shielded with fallout and radiation resistant concrete walls. We were situated something akin to 40-50 miles from a city that was a nuclear target. As the nuclear attack was inbound, I raced up top to help a person in our group who needed help downstairs because he had been in a car accident-I was about the only one with the courage to do so. As we were getting to the entrace-which was protected on the city side by similar blast and radiation proof walls-there was a bright flash. I still got downstairs, and there was no shockwave or blast that I felt. Would I have lived through this?

I have found red mold of fungus on food from the fridge?

I have found red mold or fungus growing on food left in the fridge before(in a tupperware of leftover corn). I threw it away container and all before because of the color - bright magenta. But I made cupcakes three days ago. I popped them in the fridge to keep them fresh. I just got one out and took a few bites. There was a small spot of bright red inside. Whats wrong with my Vauxhall Astra 16v Ecotec 94 car?

hello, my Vauxhall Astra ecotec was staring to have a few idle problems. when i was at a stop or a junction the car use to just cut out. after a few hours for about 2 days i self diagnosed the problem to be my idle control valve. i searched up on how to fix the problem/how much, only to find that it could simply be taken out and be cleaned. so i read up about it and took it out and give the whole thing a nice thorough clean. left it over night to dry and next day i put it back in. when i turned my engine on it worked fine sounded great like, but as soon as i done about 4 miles, the car started to lose power, it would not rev when i put my foot down on the accelerator. i put some liquid into my petrol called red ex, it smoked when i turned my engine on and revved my engine. its been about 2 days now and i have tried to drive it again and it seems to work perfect, no problems at all apart from the engine light comes on randomly and also i can now hear ticking where my tappets are under my rocker cover when i accelerate. does any body know what the possible ticking noise could be? why could the engine light come on? any answerer's are appreciated. thanks for reading :-) (sorry for the essay)

Okay, this is going to sound a little strange. For the past week, I've been seeing something out of the corner of my eye, it's roughly the same size as a house cat. I normally see it when I'm sat on the sofa watchin TV, next to my TV is a door leading from the front room into the hallway. Crazy question, need advice?

Ok, i know it probably sounds crazy, but can my previous dogs spirit still be in our house? Our 8 year old yorkie just recently ped away, due to an illness. Well very shortly after, my aunt gave us a chiwawa puppy (sorry bout spelling), but anyways the only time i have heard this puppy growl or bark, is when we take her out to use the bathroom, she barks and growls at my husbands hound. But the past couple of days she keeps looking at my former dogs bed and growls and barks hysterically like something is there, but there isn't. I know it sounds crazy, but what could explain why she is doing this? Could it just be the smell or something, that is still here? She is really confusing me lol. Woah ! i was silent on the phone as i listened to all of this. she began crying to me and said she missed an old flame who had always accepted her as she was and made her feel confident in herself, he moved away and lost contact after telling her his family in another country did not want him to marry as he was still young. she said this is really bad for me to think about him when i am married to someone else. "i just feel like a big damn dissappointment to him after having the baby." he wants more children in teh future but she doesnt know if she could deal with the weight she would put on knowing he would be repulsed by her image. please someone help me out, i do not know what to say to her. if it helps her husband is very skinny and can eat like a starved hyena and wont gain a pound.so his weight cant be commented on like alot of husbands here who complain about their wives. she said"maybe he doesnt love me as much as he thinks he does,if he really did, he would appriciate the fact that i had his child and my body wouldnt matter because his love would be stronger." i asked her if she does atleast try to dress up,put makeup and perfum etc. She said she does ,but she doesnt feel pretty. how can you feel pretty when someone always puts you down and demolishes your confidence? this is not their only issue. he will also complain each and every time she cooks him food. saying its too salty,not enough salt,not enough spices,and last weel believe it or not said exaclty" why did you put so much margerine in the mashed potatoes, it makes them too creamy and too filling" i was like um ..thats sounds like the perfect mashed potatoes to me. but you get the point. same thing for cleaning .it is never good enough. please anyone tell me what i can tell her. i suggested therapy but she said he would never go. i need opinions asap. i will email them to her if i get good ones.

Hi...my bf is working on a tanker ship and he told me from the first day he is there that he has communication prbs so that he cant mail me so often. All the officer could tell me that this will now be handed to child services to look at and I will be as looked into as him. WHAT TH?? DID I DO?
