Forgotten Sukhwinder Singh?

Everyone is praising AR rahman for his music of Jai ho, gulzar for its lyrics. Sukhwinder Singh is the name i don't hear from anyone who has tremendous contribution in this song . Why is it so. I hve just hear abt him from gulzar in an interview.
