How many Home Runs would Adam Dunn have to hit to be seriously thought about for the HOF?

If he hit 700 and never did or got caught using steroids he would be an easy lock for the HOF. Even with 500 he has a chance. But considering his only real et is hitting HR's, he might have to hit more like 600 to be sure of getting in.
