Earthquake in melbourne (australia)?

There was recently ground tremors in Melbourne. Was it an earthquake? Have we been bombed? No news seems to be reporting this yet the tremors were felt in fairly far away suburbs. Is this a sign of the government supressing information? Remember the same government is introducing compulsory internet filters so clearly don't believe in freedom of speech
